Measuring 16″ across the lower bout, 11½″ at the waist and 4⅝″ deep at the tail block, the GA silhouette straddles dreadnought bass authority and OM mid focus. 5 | Finish Logic — Open-Pore Natural Satin

An 80 µm two-coat stack (water-borne sealer + matte polyurethane) is half the thickness of entry-level gloss polyester. Less finish weight equals quicker transient response—notes “jump” off the soundboard—while the matte face eliminates harsh stage reflections. The open pores let the spruce and mahogany equalise moisture faster, so humidification is straightforward and cracks less likely.

6 | Neck & Comfort

Short electric-style sets, campfire chord charts or 90-minute fingerstyle clinics all ask the same: “will my left hand survive?” Depth on the GA-MEDX measures 0.84″ at first fret and 0.89″ by ninth; a 43 mm bone nut splits the difference between 1 ¾″ fingerstyle spacing and 1 11⁄16″ vintage dread spec.
